As a participant in the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program, Garrett Regional Medical Center (GRMC) was able to funnel close to $1.6 million into services directly impacting patient care last year, including cancer and infusion therapy services.

Garrett Regional Medical Center receives CMS 5-star rating

Garrett Regional Medical Center (GRMC) received the highest rating possible from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently when it received five stars for the quality of care GRMC staff consistently provides the hospital’s patients. According to the American Hospital Association, there are 5,564 hospitals in the US; only 407 achieved this year’s five star rating, and GRMC is one of only eight hospitals in the state of Maryland to do so.
