NURSES NEEDED- LPN and RN

SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $7500

 

We have full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities on the following nursing units:

  • ER
  • OB/Family Centered Maternity Suites
  • Intensive Care Unit
  • Surgical Services- Same Day Surgery, Operating Room, PACU
  • Medical-Surgical
  • Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (Per Diem)

Positions will work shifts as scheduled and may include rotating weekends, rotating holidays, and/or call rotations.

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with current registration with the Maryland State Board of Nursing or have the ability to obtain before date of hire. ACLS required or willing to obtain within 6 months.

 

EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN OPPORTUNITY

Seeking a physician BC EM to join our team.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Part-Time opportunity available!

Preference would be given to candidates who have at least 2 years’ experience in primary, urgent or emergency care services.  Candidates would have the professional knowledge and skills to be able to evaluate, diagnose, and deliver a plan of care for patients on an individual basis.

Our Grantsville Medical Center/Medical Associates of Grantsville, LLC location offers all the care you need in one convenient location including Urgent Care, Primary Care, Lab/X-Ray Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and DOT and CDL physicals as well as for school and sports.

Applicants must have Maryland license or ability to obtain as well as Controlled Substances Certification.

 

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Current opening for a Director of Health Information Management.

Responsible for the management of all activities of the Health Information Management department in accordance with accepted standards and administrative policies including Medical Records, Coding and Transcription.

Maintains quality services through qualified staff management of the budget and accomplishment of goals and objectives. Selects, trains/orients and assigns department staff. Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance and initiates personnel actions. Responsible for the release of information from the medical record. Maintains strict confidentiality as well as HIPAA and Joint Commission compliance.

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. R.H.I.T. certification required, R.H.I A. preferred. 3 years of supervisory experience required. 3-5 years management responsibility in Medical Records department preferred. Strong interpersonal skills required. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) required. Must have experience with HIM computer systems (encoder, dictation, transcription and MIS). Knowledge of Meditech and 3M Coding Software preferred. Must have knowledge of ICD10 and CPT guidelines as well as HIPAA and Joint Commission Standards. Strong analytical ability preferred.

 

RADIOGRAPHER:

Garrett Regional Medical Center currently has an opening for a full-time Radiographer to work primarily second and third shifts, rotating weekends and rotating holidays.  Operates radiographic/CT equipment to perform diagnostic x-ray and basic CT examinations as directed by physicians according to established standards and practices. Exercises professional judgment and attitude in performance of services and provides appropriate patient care. May act as a preceptor for Radiologic Technology students from Radiology programs that use GRMC as a clinical site.  Graduate from an approved school of Radiology Technology with registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Maryland State License. CT experience preferred.

 

HOUSEKEEPER

Full-Time and Part-Time; shifts as scheduled; rotating weekends

The Housekeeper cleans and supplies patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, Laboratories, bathrooms, offices and any other areas that may be assigned.  Also able to clean carpets, refinish floors, and burnish corridors and rooms. Must be willing to cross-train in Laundry Department.

High school graduate or the equivalent preferred, but not required. Must have reading, writing and math skills.  Previous experience preferred.

 

EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN

Seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) Emergency Room Technician.  Position will work primarily 2nd and 3rd shifts, rotating weekends and rotating holidays.  ERT experience preferred.  Training in phlebotomy and ECG acquisition and/or previous experience in hospital-based emergency care preferred.  EMT-B preferred.
