Edward Zagula, MD, a Board Certified Urologist, is now seeing patients at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Dr. Zagula is a graduate of the WVU School of Medicine and completed his Urology residency at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, one of the top Urology programs in the nation. He has been practicing Urology in Maryland for over 30 years.
“We are very excited to offer the area an experienced Urologist with the addition of Dr. Zagula at GRMC,” said Kendra Thayer, Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services. “He will be handling both general urologic conditions as well as preforming specialized procedures. This will allow us to offer more specialty services, which means more people will find the care they need in their own community. That’s important.”
Dr. Zagula helped open Anne Arundel Urology in Maryland, where he worked as a men’s health specialist. He also worked on the medical staffs at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, the Anne Arundel Medical Center, and the Anne Arundel Urological Surgery Center. He served as chief Urologist at both Anne Arundel and Baltimore Washington Medical Centers as well as past president of the Maryland Urology Society. In 2005, Dr. Zagula was named Physician of the Year at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
